REACH IN CLOSETS · CORAL SPRINGS
Tired of wire shelves pulling from the wall and storage that doesn’t fit your life? We turn small, inefficient reach-ins into smart, organized systems — built by our own team in Coral Springs and installed 1–2 weeks after you approve your free 3D design.
Serving Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Weston and all South Florida. Free 3D design before we build a single shelf.

Double hanging, shelves to the ceiling and drawers where you need them — cut to your exact opening, without taking more space.
Two hanging rods instead of one, shelves above the door line and drawers below — so the space a single rod leaves empty gets used. Everything has a place.
See your full reach-in closet in realistic 3D — every shelf, rod and drawer — and approve the layout before we build anything.

Custom-measured to fit your exact space — around the door frame, the light switch, the oddly-shaped wall. Every inch used.
Designed and manufactured by our own team in Coral Springs. Not a wire kit from a box. Real built-in storage, custom to your home.
At Custom Closet Florida, a custom reach-in closet typically runs $1,500 to $3,000 for a standard bedroom closet, and up to $6,000+ for larger or more detailed designs. Your free 3D design comes with a detailed quote for exactly what you approve, with no obligation.

Most custom reach-in closets are built and installed within 1 to 2 weeks of approving your 3D design, and installation takes half a day to one day.
A store-bought kit is cheaper up front, because it comes in a few standard sizes and you install it yourself. A custom reach-in costs more because it's cut to your exact opening and installed for you — and in a closet this size, the inches a kit can't reach are a big share of the space.
A typical store kit stretches to cover a range of walls. Home Depot's ClosetMaid SuperSlide wire kit, for example, is sold to fit widths from 5 to 8 feet as a 13-inch-deep system. That works for a simple wall of shelves. It doesn't give you drawers, a section cut around the door frame or the light switch, or shelving that runs to the ceiling.

Eight fixed configurations on the same 95-inch frame, each with one published price — built in the same Coral Springs facility and installed by our own team. If your closet wall fits that frame, it's the fastest and most affordable way to get a built closet. If it doesn't — a narrower opening, a sloped ceiling, an off-center door — that's what custom is for.
Yes — replacing builder-grade wire shelving is one of the most common reach-in projects we do. We remove the existing wire shelving, patch and prep the walls, and install a full custom system in its place, usually in a single visit.
1. Remove the wire
We take out the existing wire shelving, rods and brackets.
2. Patch and prep the walls
Bracket and anchor holes are patched and prepped before the new system goes in.
3. Install the custom system

Many homes in Parkland, Coral Springs and across Broward still have the wire shelving they came with — and it's the first thing homeowners outgrow: it doesn't hold folded clothes well and has no drawers.

Custom shelving for towels, bedding, cleaning supplies and household essentials. Every South Florida home has one — most are a mess. We fix that.
Hooks, cubbies, shoe racks and shelves for coats, bags and daily gear. Built for South Florida's active, on-the-go lifestyle.
You get more space out of a small reach-in by building up and splitting the hanging: two rods instead of one, shelves that run to the ceiling, and drawers where long garments don't need to hang. Good reach-in closet design starts with what you actually own, then fits it to the opening.

Shelving above the door header line
Hunker's guide to standard closet dimensions puts a double-hang setup at 42 and 84 inches above the floor — two rows of shirts and pants in the space a single rod uses for one — and gives 24 inches as the standard minimum depth for a reach-in, up to 28 inches for coats. In a small reach-in closet, the rest of the gains come from the spots a kit skips: the strip above the door header, the corners behind the door jambs, and the wall beside a switch or a return vent.
See it before we build it. In your free 3D design you see every rod, shelf and drawer in your actual closet — and we adjust it with you before a single panel is cut.
A reach-in is a system built inside a closet your room already has, behind its own doors; a wardrobe is a freestanding or built-in cabinet with its own doors, for a room that doesn't have a closet at all. If there's a closet opening, you need a reach-in; if there isn't, you need a wardrobe.

Your designer creates a full 3D layout of your reach-in closet — every shelf, rod, drawer and hanging section — so you approve the design before we build anything.
Our own team cuts and edgebands your reach-in on our own CNC in Coral Springs, using moisture-resistant engineered panels.
Our own crew (no subcontractors) installs your closet in a single visit. Most reach-in closets are installed in half a day. Clean, precise, done right.
Every material is selected for South Florida’s humidity and daily closet use —
durable, moisture-resistant and beautiful for years.

Woodgrain panels in warm natural tones, factory-finished and sealed against Florida humidity. Real wood veneer is available when your design calls for it.

White, gray, soft pastels and solid colors — factory-finished surfaces that won't peel or yellow. Painted finishes are available on request.

Blum soft-close drawers, quality clothing rods and designer handles — standard on every closet we build. No wire racks. No plastic hardware.

Integrated LED lighting inside the closet so you can see everything clearly — every morning, without digging through the dark.
It will if the materials are chosen for it — a closed closet is one of the first places mildew shows up in a humid home. We build with moisture-resistant engineered panels with every exposed edge sealed, not bare particleboard or wire that rusts.
Moisture-resistant panels
Engineered panels from premium suppliers — Tafisa, Finsa, AGT and Lioher — with plywood or HDPE when the space calls for it.
Every edge sealed
Edgebanded on our own machines in Coral Springs, so no core is left open to humid air.
Factory-finished surfaces
No site-applied coatings to peel or yellow — easy to wipe clean.
Blum soft-close hardware
Standard on every drawer, built to keep running smoothly.
The University of Florida's IFAS Extension notes that mildew can grow in oxygen-starved spaces like closets, in rooms where relative humidity sits between 70 and 90 percent. That's why we keep panels sealed on every side.
WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT
Many storage companies in South Florida install systems from catalogs — pre-made wire or laminate panels. Custom Closet Florida is different. We design and manufacture every reach-in system from scratch, in our own Coral Springs
facility, with our own team. Built exactly for your space —
not adapted from a kit that wasn’t designed for it.
